IMPLEMENTASI PARADIGMA WAHDATUL ‘ULUM DENGAN PENDEKATAN TRANSDISIPLINER UNTUK MENGHASILKAN KARAKTER ULUL ALBAB PADA LULUSAN UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI SUMATERA UTARA
wahdatul' Ulum dan transdisipliner adalah dua konsep utama tentang filsafat ilmu di UIN Sumut yang pada akhirnya melebur menjadi kristal dan kerangka luas Vahdatul Ulum, dan transdisipliner masih menjadi motor penggerak di balik filsafat abstrak. Wahdatul Ulum dapat digunakan untuk membuat konsep menjadi lebih nyata dan memecahkan masalah manusia. Implementasi Wahdatul `Ulum melalui pendekatan interdisipliner meliputi pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, sehingga tujuan yang telah ditetapkan dalam paradigma Wahdatul` Ulum dapat dinanti ke depan. Lulusan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara Medan yang berkarakter Ulul al-Baba, memiliki sembilan karakteristik. , Kepribadian hamba, wawasan etnis, tanggung jawab, rasa bahagia
